I was asked in an earlier comment about how I get my e-books to people once they purchase them. I have had the superior support of Vibralogix – ‘Smart scripts for smart sites’ – since the very beginning, several years ago. Also, I have found none who could topple their reign as STELLAR in the customer service department. I use the product Linlok for PayPal, but they have a product for every need. Happy to share – check it out!
I am curious to find out what blog platform you are utilizing? I’m having some small security issues with my latest blog and I’d like to find something more safeguarded. Do you have any suggestions?
A: Thanks for visiting our blog, Beatrice. Happy to help! I use WordPress. And I know how frustrating the security aspect can be. I’ve had a disgruntled person trying to hack into my system for over three years now. He’s brilliant with computers, taught me how to set up a password, and then got mad because I changed it on him and he couldn’t get back into my admin site for extortion purposes. He was causing something to happen to the site – like shut down my entire bookstore!- so I’d have to call him and pay him to fix it. Last I looked, he had 19 others he had access to. When I figured out this was an annual thing for him, I ended it and shut him out. He has password breaking software on 126 computers running 24-7 to break into the site.
He’s never been able to, so here’s what I did and hope you find some relief in that worry: I changed my password to include at least one or more caps, some digits, and some numbers – don’t even try to make it something you might remember easily because he was able to find enough out about me to try to use some very personal info to get my password! Just make it STRONG, over ten characters, and keep it in a safe place where only you can get to it easily.
Next, I set up the WP plugin WORDFENCE on my WP site – the free version works great, but do what you want there. Take your time and don’t panic at all the info it seems you need to set it up. Just focus on making sure that anyone without the password or username gets locked out immediately and for as long as you want them to be. You get to make that choice. You can also set your IP into the ‘whitelist’ so even if you have a hard time getting the password right, it won’t lock you out. Just follow the instructions.
After nearly three years of ‘user locked out’ emails – I had auto-routed to TRASH so I didn’t have to see the several dozen a day – and just because I knew the power the hacker person had, and I was setting this website up even more intricately than what it was when he first shut it down, I moved the blog to a new server and changed the .com to .org. I still have all the bells and whistles and just used the WP ‘export’ plugin to move it in minutes.
SO, if that guy ever DOES get through the other website password, he’ll find nobody home. THAT feels better! LOL NOW, finally and even the BEST, I aligned myself up with wpbeginner.com and OMG do they ever help on the WP blogs! I used to get so frustrated at waiting for someone on a forum to MAYBE be able to help, taking sometimes months to get an answer. These guys get it done RIGHT NOW and before you even have to get hold of them, their website has answers to everything and easy to understand. If I can do it, you can. They are my 2014 heroes! Hope that helps. :>)
I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your blog. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a designer to create your theme? Outstanding work!
A. Thank you, Serena. That’s encouraging, and no I did not hire a web designer, I’ve been doing it all myself since 2007. WordPress is what I’ve always stayed with since it is so easy to set up. I use wpbeginners.com a lot and have built several websites using their tools. Thanks for visiting.

Can I simply just say what a relief to discover somebody that truly understands what they’re talking about on the web. You definitely realize how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people should read this and understand this side of your story. It’s surprising you are not more popular since you definitely possess the gift.
A. Thanks for your encouraging feedback, Gayle. I have only launched this site with all the product on July Fourth, 2014, after reorganizing it from a hobby to professional, so it hasn’t been around for very long. I will be doing some marketing shortly, so I, too, hope more people are drawn to it as its focus is Truth. You can help by spreading the word – ‘share’ it with your friends and family. Be sure to ‘follow’ it by clicking below; there’s always something new going on and much has been added since your comment! Thank you!

First off I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing. I have had a difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Thanks!
A. Hey, Robert, thank you for your encouraging feedback. As for your question on how to ‘center’ so your writing flows: If you meditate, that would be the meditation key focus before you start writing; you’ll get your answer. If you do not meditate, just make sure you are familiar with your subject, why you are passionate about it enough to spend time writing about it, and then just start as though you were talking to a friend about it. You can always go back and edit, but at least you got started! Usually that’s a writer’s first hurdle anyway, so don’t think you’re alone! Once you break the ice, it usually flows easily. Good luck and don’t give up! Notice much has been added to the site since you left your comment; be sure to ‘follow’ as there’s always something happening here.
